“My heart is full. Full of gratitude for the trust that you have placed in me, full of love for our country, and full of resolve.
“I know you gave so much of yourselves to this fight. And I am so grateful to you.
“The outcome of this election is not what we wanted. And it is not what we fought for. But the light of America’s promise will always burn bright – as long as we never give up and keep fighting.
“While I concede this election, I do not concede the fight that fueled this campaign.
“The fight for the ideals that reflect America at its best: Freedom, opportunity, fairness, and dignity. That is a fight I will never give up.
“I will never give up the fight for a future where every American can pursue their dreams. Where the women of America have the freedom to make decisions about their bodies. The fight to protect our students and our streets from gun violence. The fight for our democracy.
“Because the fight for our country is always worth it. And we cannot give up now.
“This is not the time to throw up our hands. This is a time to roll up our sleeves.
“You can and will make a difference”.

Why She Lost the Election
Much has been said and written about why Kamala Harris lost the presidential election to Donald Trump. Harris failed to make a clean break from the last four years when voters indicated that’s what they wanted. Worse, she hesitated to draw any daylight between herself and her boss on Biden’s biggest vulnerability — his stewardship over the economy — nor identify any specific way her presidency would be different from his tenure beyond naming a Republican to her Cabinet. She was trapped between the devil and the deep blue sea.
Trump made significant inroads into the hitherto Black and Hispanic traditional support bases of the Democrats. She refused to separate from Biden, even after the president publicly offered her permission. Harris’ aides during the campaign stressed that this was a line she was unwilling to cross, offering that doing so would undermine a litany of public statements she’d made about the president and blow holes in her record of accomplishments in the White House.
Harris chose not to provide extensive explanation, or sometimes any rationale at all, for the gaping chasm between many of her past policy positions on everything from hydraulic fracturing (a huge issue in Pennsylvania) and clean car mandates (a big deal in Michigan) to providing citizenship to unauthorized immigrants brought to the U.S. as children. She led with a “my principles haven’t changed” approach that would have to serve as a catch-all.
The public’s judgment of Biden’s performance on two core issues—inflation and immigration—was harshly negative, and Harris inherited this disapproval. Women’s share of the total vote rose only marginally from its level in 2020, and Harris’ share of the women who voted did not increase from Biden’s 2020 levels. she assumed that putting reproductive rights at the center of her agenda would mobilize an army of angry women and move them to the polls in record numbers.
The fact that Biden waited so long to leave the race also worked against Harris. The president’s tardy decision deprived her of the opportunity to sharpen her arguments in a primary fight and shortened the time she had to introduce herself to the voters. She did the best she could in the circumstances by quickly unifying the party and building on Biden’s campaign apparatus rather than starting from scratch, but she never entirely overcame the difficulties stemming from Biden’s timetable.
Additional Reasons Why Kamala Harris Lost To Donald Trump by franchasng: Foreign Affairs on Nairaland
I won’t waste your time, I am going to give you a short list of why Kamala Harris Lost to Donald Trump.
1.) Americans are not ready to allow a woman to lead them as President. In as much as they champion gender equality, they understand the dangers of electing a woman, a black or mixed race as the POTUS. The current generation of Americans now is not ready for that risk.
2.) Americans don’t joke with Israel’s security. Whoever told Kamala Harris to criticize Israel, publicly condemning Israel’s defense of her homeland from Moslem terrorist attacks was wrong. She should have kept her mouth shut.
3.) In as much as Americans support freedom, equality, and liberalism, the way Kamala Harris supports LGBT, Abortion, genderless madness, and other anti-Christian wokeism practices became worrisome to so many real Americans, not the fake American wannabes.
4.) Most Americans are tired of Ukraine Russian war and they believe Trump can put an end to the war and save the world from a possible 3rd world war or nuclear battle. The Americans of today love fun and enjoyment more than anything and are not ready to go to any warlike Americans of the 1940s to 1990s cheesy
5.) Islamic Terrorists Madness in the Middle East and the rising popularity of Iran. Americans believe only Trump can put a stop to Iran’s madness in the Middle East.
6.) Migrant Influx. Many White Americans are tired of migrants trooping into their country. They believe if this is not checked, America will lose its glory in no distant time so they want a President who can be bold enough to stop or slow down migration to a great extent.
Kamala Harris has been in support of allowing migrants in while Trump is against undocumented migrants coming into the US, especially those from Muslim countries, Africa, Haiti, Colombia, and Mexico.
These are the main reasons Kamala Harris lost the election.
